Learn to use 'Link Record' fields

  • To learn how to use Related, or Link Record fields in your day-to-day operations:

If you have the proper permissions in your Role description, you can add, link, and rename Link Record fields in your Forms.

  1. Click + Add Field in the Form builder

  2. Select Related Field from the drop-down

  3. Name the Field something descriptive → ex. Attach an Issue here!

  4. Select a Related Form to pull data from → ex. Issue

  5. Click ✓ Save Changes

To rename a Link Record field:

  1. Click AdminForms

  2. Tap Edit on your target form → ex. Risk Report

  3. Select the Edit Pencil icon → on the Link Record field

  4. In the Name Field box, rename the Field anything you like

  5. Click Save Changes
