About Product-Led Growth
Product-Led Growth (PLG) is a development methodology that directly aligns product improvements with customer needs.
At SwitchBase, we embrace PLG by assiduously recording every incoming idea and suggestion in our PLG Records — building an actionable list of product enhancements guided by our PLG Dashboard.
This is how every idea is captured, curated, and acted on:
- As with any Record, we start by clicking the +Orange Create Record icon

- We then pick the PLG form →
- Notice that a few team members have created Shortcuts to speed up entry
- Bug Reports and Feature Requests also have Shortcuts.
- Bugs are always prioritized and receive swifter action with the help of Link Records.
- Otherwise Create Blank is selected

- Then, we simply fill in the PLG Form or Shortcut→
- Easy to understand subject lines are encouraged
- Detailed, clear descriptions are essential
- Images are often added so engineers can visualize the bug, feature request, or consistency issue
- A priority can also be set

- A Record's Status is also changed as updates are made
about Link records
- The Link Records Field is used to feed the suggestions into the Engineering team's Snippets. Cool, right?!
- AI in the Description Fields also helps clarify and summarize the PLG Records
- Submissions and suggestions can also be filtered in many different ways in the PLG Dashboard
