About Workflows
A workflow is an automated series of steps or actions within SwitchBase that streamlines a process.
Think of it as a set of rules to make SwitchBase do a job for you automatically. Instead of a user manually completing a series of repetitive tasks—like sending a notification, changing a status, and creating a report — a workflow automates these steps to happen instantly when a certain condition is triggered.
For many Venues, Workflows may not be necessary. So, when you click the Workflows option, you'll be greated with this message:

To discuss a Workflow for your venue, contact your SwitchBase Account Representative who can connect you with the Engineering group to talk through the Workflow.
