Duplicate Dashboards

To briefly preview, when configuring a Widget you will:
- Name the Widget → Chart Title_ → ex. Status
- Link the Widget to a Form's Data → ex. Issue
-
Delineate the Field from the Form you wish to display and segment → ex. Issue Status

Troubleshooting: Sierra can't see her Dashboard's data!
Dashboard and Form Resources must work together! So what can possibly go wrong?
Let's find out by highlighting Sierra, a newly promoted Access Manager for the Custodial team.
In the below image, Sierra has been promoted within the Event Center Dashboard — which will be her go-to Dashboard. Plenty of power, right?
Well, not quite. When she opens the Event Dashboard for the first time, ouch. No data.
Giving Sierra Access to Her Resources & Data
To see the Data in the Event Command Center Dashboard, she needs access to the:
-
Issue Form: Data Contributor Permissions
- Sierra will be entering, updating, and deleting Issue-related Records
- (Staff members gain Data Contributor permissions to the Issues Form through the Custodial Group
- Sierra doesn't have Form Access Manager permissions because the Form is designed by its owner for multiple departments
-
Event Form: Viewer-level permission
- Viewer-level is plenty of permission as others will be entering the Events and Event Markers
1. Issue Form — Data Contributor Permissions
Let's add her to the Issues Form.
After you share the Form, presto! See what happens!
But wait, it's too much data. As an Access Manager over Custodial Services, much of this doesn't apply.
Clean up Rows in Records Table
Let's reduce the visualization to just Custodial Records. For example:
Now see the Result of this simple Data Filter. Rows only show Custodial Records
