Race 13.1 → Certification Project

About Certification

Welcome to the Race section → aka. our SwitchBase Certification Challenge!

Race 2

To certify you'll need to score above 90% against a 40 point Certification checklist. There are two ways to hit the mark:

  1. If you are a current Admin or Access Manager in your Home Organization:

    • Simply email karl@switchbase.com and indicate that you would like to finalize your Certification!
    • The Training Team will visit your Organization (with your permission) and run through the 40 point checklist
    • We will then forward a few ideas of what you may wish to add (or not add) to your Org to get to 90%!
  2. If you are not an Admin (or if you are a new SwitchBase team member), continue to the Challenge!

The Certification Challenge

You are about to 'Race against the clock' to build out a complete Venue and then run one of its Events!

= (Want to know a secret? You've completed much of this in Run Lessons 7=12. Sush. Don't tell anyone.)

  • Identify a Venue of your own that you would like to build out inside of your reimagined Thunderhawk Arena Sandbox
  • Add 3 new Events
  • Run 1 mock Event
  • Staff your venue with the necessary Groups and Users = (Add at least 1 new Group and a few new Users!)

Hints:

  • Use the SwitchBase Help Center all you wish. If you don't remember something, you can look it up.
  • Use ChatGPT or Google Gemini to help identify your venue's elements: its locations, the titles used by the venue and event organizers, and the kinds of Events it's likely to host, etc.
